Language Hub

EN IT

Everything you're studying, finally in one place.

Open Language Hub and you're already studying: nothing to close, nothing to find again.

If you've got ten minutes, they're ten minutes of real study — not ten minutes spent remembering where you left off.

The problem

You needed one thing. You opened seven.

The video on your laptop, the dictionary in another tab, your notes on the iPad, a journal half on paper and half in some note you can't find again.

It isn't willpower you're missing. Your studying lives in six places that don't talk to each other, and every jump costs you a piece of your attention.

What's inside

One project per language. Inside, four moments.

Input

What comes in

Videos, podcasts and articles. You watch and read them here.

Study

What sticks

Flashcards, grammar notes, spaced repetition over time.

Output

What you make

Your writing journal, and your own voice recorded.

Motivation

What brings you back

Challenges, streaks to keep, progress you can see.

The YouTube video plays in here. Without the sidebar of suggestions that takes you somewhere else. And you make a flashcard by selecting a word while you read, without opening anything else.

Who made it

I'm not a polyglot.

I have a job that takes up most of my time. I'm studying English and Japanese, and little by little I'm getting somewhere.

It didn't come from a method.

It came from an annoyance.

I got tired of studying in six different places, so I built this for myself. Now I'd like to share it with anyone who has the same urge to learn a language.

How it actually works

You give something up. You get something else.

You won't find

A path that tells you what to do today

No lesson 3 that unlocks after lesson 2.

In return

You study the way you study

Follow your own course, your own book, your own teacher — and in here everything you do stays connected.

You won't find

Three minutes a day and done

It takes a while to get the hang of it.

In return

A tool that grows with you

Once it clicks, every piece talks to the others: you read an article, a card comes out of it, the card comes back in your review.

You won't find

A promise that you'll learn faster

How much you learn depends on how often you come back.

In return

What you make stays yours

Notes, decks, journal, recordings: export them whenever you want, without asking anyone.

Your language

Eight languages, and content that keeps growing.

Some ready-made content is already there — grammar notes with their own exercises, decks to start from — and more gets added all the time.

If you're studying a less common language you'll find less at first, and you'll build some of it yourself. What you make will be genuinely yours — and if you feel like it, write to me: we'll talk, and it could become content offered to everyone studying your language.

It's free today.

One day it might not be. If that happens you'll know in advance, not overnight.

And what you've written you can take with you whenever you like: notes, decks, journal, texts. The export already exists — it isn't a promise for later.

Language Hub is under continuous development: things change, hopefully for the better.
