Cookies and local storage — Language Hub

Language Hub uses no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no profiling cookies. That is why you will not find a window asking you to accept cookies: there are none to accept.

What follows is the complete list of what ends up on your device, and what it is for.

1. The only cookie

It is strictly necessary: without it you could not log in. That is why the law does not require your consent for it.

2. What we save in your browser

These are not cookies: they are preferences and states the browser keeps aside. They are not sent to anyone and they stay on the device you are using.

Theme and language we also keep on our server, together with your account: that is what lets you find them again when you move from one device to another.

3. Third parties

On the registration page, and only there, we use Cloudflare Turnstile: a check that tells a person from an automated program, so that nobody can create accounts over and over. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical characteristics of your browser, and may store something on your device for the duration of the check.

On two pages only — decks and starter packs — two technical libraries are loaded from Cloudflare's public archive. They are there to read the files you import, and they do not follow you anywhere.

There are no other third parties. The typefaces and all the other libraries are on our own server: opening the app you contact nobody but us.

The detail on these providers and on data transfers is in the privacy policy.

4. How you control them

You can delete or block cookies and local storage from your browser settings.

If you block the session cookie you will not be able to log in to Language Hub: it is what keeps you signed in. Clearing the preferences saved in the browser, on the other hand, costs you nothing important — just a few small conveniences.

5. The languages of this document

This document exists in Italian and in English. In case of any discrepancy between the two texts, the Italian version prevails.
